Water Pollution: A Growing Problem (in the bay area)

Water pollution is a growing problem in the Bay Area. Almost 4 billion plastic bags are used in the Bay Area every year. More than 1 million of those plastic bags end up in the bay every year. However all is not lost for the bay area. Many organizations are working hard to protect this incredibly beautiful and huge bay. The North Marin Water District is a heavily involved organization for the bay, and I would highly recommend checking out this site and browsing around for a little bit, they are a great resource to learn more about this increasing problem.
